Alkem Laboratories was established in 1973 in Mumbai, India, and currently has 16 manufacturing plants, 14 of them in India and 2 in the United States.
Alkem has 16 manufacturing facilities with cGMP certification according to WHO standards, six of which also have approvals from the USFDA, Australia’s TGA and MHRA from the United Kingdom. These six facilities manufacture products for Ascend in US and Chile.
Our center for Bioequivalence Studies, located in Taloja, India also has the recognition and certification of the ISP,Chile.
